Juan Medina es un artista Latino Americano que nació en la República Dominicana en 1948. Se graduó con honores de la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes de Santo Domingo y del Taller de Pintura Mural del Profesor Jaime Colson. Desde 1974 es profesor de la misma Escuela encargado de Pintura al Natural y de cursos de Postgrado.
